Web Developer

Nepali Video Captioning System (Ongoing)

  • Building an end-to-end system to generate semantically meaningful and grammatically correct video captions in Nepali.
  • Working with CNN-RNN architecture using models like EfficientNetB0, ResNet-101, and BiLSTM for visual feature extraction and sequence generation.
  • Translating MSVD English captions into NNepali using Google Translate to create a parallel dataset.
  • Sampling 30 frames per video and preprocessing them for training.
  • Currently achieving promising results with EfficientNetB0 + BiLSTM. Exploring transformer-based approaches and improved translation techniques for future iterations.
  • Implemented data-driven insights to enhance user experience.
